THERE IS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING,IT SEEMS THE STARS HAVE LINED UP FOR CARLSEN TO WIN THE WORLD CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2013.HE HAS YOUTH,ENERGY AND TALENT.IT MAY BE HIS TIME.ANAND IS ALREADY GREAT,HOWEVER THIS UPCOMING MATCH WILL BE ANAND'S BIGGEST CHALLENGE.IN MY OPINION IF ANAND CAN WIN AND HOLD HIS TITLE HE WILL HAVE CATAPULTED HIMSELF UP TO AND MAYBE BEYOND THE RANKS OF THE GREAT KASPAROV.IF ANAND RETAINS THE TITLE HE WILL BE AMONG THE GREATEST OF THE GREATS APPROACHING A CLASS UNTO HIMSELF.IF ANAND CAN HOLD THE TITLE FOR THE 6TH TIME AGAINST THE LIKES OF A MONSTER MAMMOTH PLAYER LIKE CARLSEN THEN HE DESERVES ALL THE PRAISE.
The World Chess Championship 2013 will be a match between the World Chess Champion Viswanathan Anand (winner of the World Chess Championship 2012) and Magnus Carlsen, to determine the 2013 World Chess Champion. It will be held under the auspices of FIDE, the World Chess Federation, from 9 to 28 November 2013 in Chennai, India.
The match between Anand and Carlsen will take place in the hotel Hyatt Regency Chennai in Chennai, India,[15] from 9 to 28 November 2013, under the auspices of FIDE.[16] 12 games are scheduled, with one per day at 3 pm local time with rest days after games 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 11. Should the match be tied after the 12th game on 26 November tie-break games will be played on the 28th.[17]
The time control for the games will give each player 120 minutes for the first 40 moves, 60 minutes for moves 41--60 and 15 minutes for the rest of the game, with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting after move 61.[17] Tie-break games, if played, will have increasingly limited time controls.

TIMES OF INDIA:ANAND PLAYS ON HOME TURF
NEW DELHI: Viswanathan Anand will defend his World Chess Championship title against world number one Magnus Carlsen in his home city as FIDE chose Chennai as the venue for the prestigious match.
Even as it has been reported that Carlsen was not keen to play in Chennai and instead preferred Paris as the venue, the FIDE Presidential Board confirmed Chennai as the venue during a meeting at Baku, Azerbaijan on Sunday.
The match between the Indian and his Norwegian opponent will be played from November 6 to 26. Anand had defeated Boris Gelfand of Israel to retain his title in 2012.
"The agreement was signed today at Baku by Bharat Singh, honorary secretary All India Chess Federation and FIDE president Kirsan Ilyumzhinov," a press released stated.

CARLSEN WINS FIDE CANDIDATES 2013
Magnus Carlsen wins the right to play Viswanathan Anand for the World Chess Championship after he won(A sloppy RD.14)Candidates Tournament 2013.Congratulations to Magnus Carlsen.He will play in what I dubb as"The Chess Match Of The Century II"The whole World will STOP to watch this one.I predicted that either Kramnik or Carlsen would win this Candidates Tournament and I was correct.In an article "The Indian Express" Anand says"'Carlsen will be ridiculously difficult to play against' to make such a statement in my mind is almost a resignation before the match starts,although the statement is correct.Mr. Anand do you not know that you my dear Sir are GREAT?Do you not know that you Sir are an exceptional player and worthy of the throne?Please Mr.Anand do not psych yourself out BEFORE the match starts.In the Candidates Tournament Mr.Carlsen showed himself to be a mere mortal just like us when in effect he got tired near the end and the strain got to him while Kramnik went on a rampage and imploded at the last round as did Carlsen.Kramnik was just waiting to see the outcome of Carlsen's game perhaps.The stakes were high and the last round just crashed.In the upcoming match Anand just has to play good chess and I predict there will be few wins in this match with LOTS of draws.If Anand retains his title then he must be considered one of the Greatest of the Greats.This will be Anand's Greatest Challenge to date.This will be a monumental Match.
